What am I required to do in this assignment?

Assessment 1: Report on a subject related to International New Ventures (INVs)
You are required to write a report on a subject related to International New Ventures (INVs). Sample topics will be posted on BREO, giving you an understanding of how specific your report should be and what could be potential topics. You should then self-select a specific, relevant and contemporary topic related to INVs on which you will do research and finally write this up in your report.
Your selection of your topic must be discussed with, and cleared by, your unit tutor. The report must include a minimum of six articles from a list of academic articles provided in the reading list or identified by yourself. Mini-vivas (five minutes) for all students will be conducted to test understanding of your chosen topic.
The more specific the self-selected topic is, the better you will be able to identify relevant and key literature in relation to the subject matter, which in turn will help you to keep focused – likely to lead to a coherent piece of work.
