Assignment

1. Define ethics and outline the principles that define an ethical dilemma, giving an example from one ethical approach you have studied. 
2. Using an ethical response cycle of your choice, outline how an ethical dilemma may be resolved in a social care setting.  You may use examples/case studies to support your discussion.

Criteria:

• Refer to one ethical approach that you have studied in your discussion ie: capability theory, ethics of care, deontology, utilitarianism.
• Outline the stages that are used when responding to an ethical dilemma effectively. You may refer to work experience/case studies to support your discussion
