750 words on a simple business plan, Students to select from ONE of these small businesses. These are small businesses that have been highlighted as undergoing change in 2020 and 2021.

Submission Guidelines

  • All work must be submitted on Blackboard by the due date along with a completed Assignment Cover Page.
  • The assignment must be in MS Word format, 1.5 spacing, 12-pt Arial font and 2 cm margins on all four sides of your page with appropriate section headings and page numbers.  
  • Reference sources must be cited in the text of the report, and listed appropriately at the end in a reference list, all using Harvard referencing style.

 Assignment Specifications

Purpose:

This individual assignment is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of module concepts and apply their knowledge of the theories and module material to a contemporary business, these types of business have been particularly successful over the lockdown period.

Assignment Requirements:

  • Institute Cover Page [This is essential and must be completed accurately]
  • Summary of the findings.
  • Objectives of the business plan.
  •  USP the unique selling point of the business.
  • SWOT a brief analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
  •  Market an analysis of the market for the products or service.
  • Research undertaken.
  • Cashflow projection.
  • Marketing mix- classic 4 p’s.
  •  Conclusion.
  • Page Numbers must be used.
  • Reference List at the end must be in the Harvard format
  • When finalised, students must submit an electronic copy ONLY onto Blackboard via Safe Assign (Self Check) using the final submission links by the due date. The percentage of similarity from the Safe Assign report is expected to be Low or Medium.
