Regardless of your choice, the goal of the paper is to closely examine the ways that  social theory informs educational research and practice, whether explicitly and/or implicitly, and to uncover how a particular theory or ideology may shape your interests and understandings about engaging with a particular education project. Consider broadly:

• How does social theory inform, explicitly or implicitly, the conceptualization of  the project or problem under study?

• How does the organization "apply" theory to the analysis of educational  processes or materials? Is the theory embedded, or made explicit?

• Does the use of theory seem accurate? Appropriate? What Changes might you recommend?

1)    Design a 10-day study abroad program for the university/organization of your choice.
