What am I required to do in this assignment?

Task:  Individual responses to a current global issue

For the online test, students should write their answer in a magazine format, using relevant theories and research. Four optional topics will be provided in Week 7 before the assessment to allow for preparation and research. A template will be provided and the word count will be limited in each section.

You will complete this task online on the day of your class.

What do I need to do to pass? (Threshold Expectations from UIF)

In order to pass Assessment 1 you will need to:

  • Communicate your intentions to the intended audience using a magazine format
  • Respond in a way that demonstrates at least minimal understanding of the business situation

How do I produce high quality work that merits a good grade?

We will be considering this task in class in the weeks before submission and particularly during the morning before you download the task sheet and submit in the afternoon. Be sure to have a copy of this brief to hand to help you, along with your preparation notes.
