KEY FOCUS AREA. Relevant evidence might include statistical data; evidence relating to processes (for example process documentation, records of errors, complaints or shortfalls, successes); evidence relating to outcomes (tangible/intangible); evidence relating to new or unmet requirements (needs analysis, change analysis, consultation outcomes); opinion and testimony of affected parties; outcomes of critical path analysis.

  • Briefly identify a minimum of 2 possible solutions 


AC3.2 Scrutinise key systems and data used to inform people practice in relation to measures of work and people performance calculations.

KEY FOCUS AREA. You will need to identify and explain examples of key systems and data used by HR / People Professionals to measure work and people performance.

  • Identify and explain 2 examples of key systems used by people professionals to measure work and people performance (for example LMS, HRIS)
  • Identify and explain 2 examples of key data used by people professionals to measure work and people performance. We would expect to see a discussion of both quantitative and qualitative data here (for example turnover, training data etc) 


AC3.3 Collate key findings for stakeholders from people practice activities and initiatives.
(Approximately 300 words)
KEY FOCUS AREA.  The assessment for AC 3.3 requires completion of the assessment for AC 2.1 first:  Use one analytical tool to review the 3 data sets to reveal any themes, patterns, and trends (2.1)

  • This is a graphical representation of your findings from the data in Tables 1, 2 and 3. Remember you are presenting your findings to stakeholders so ensure your graphs are clearly labelled (axis and headings) and the data is clear and accurate
  • Present your conclusions from the data in 3 different graphical formats
  • Add a brief narrative under each one to explain why you chose that type of graph to present your findings 


AC2.4 Make at least three recommendations to reduce employee turnover based on your analysis. Provide a rationale for your recommendations based on an evaluation of the benefits, risks and financial implications of potential solutions.

KEY FOCUS AREA. This task leads on from AC2.2. You should now include a discussion of cost-benefit – specifically identifying risks and financial implications – for example, direct and hidden costs.

  • Refer back to Tables 1, 2 and 3. We advise you use 3 clear sub-headings to show you have covered benefits, risks and financial implications
  • Identify 3 recommendations to reduce turnover
  • Provide a rationale for these – why have you chosen them? You will need to consider the benefits of each recommendation, the risks, and the financial implications. You must cover all 3 of these elements in your answer.
  • Explore possible positive benefits (increased productivity, higher employee engagement, better Customer satisfaction etc…) of implementing the solution
  • Identify the risks (Legal, Health & safety, Financial, Reputational etc…) of implementing the solution
  • Identify the financial implications - Direct costs (costs of implementing the solution) and Indirect costs (loss of working time or need for skills upgrade in relation to the solution)
